D4 back in service

During the 50th Anniversary event last year, D4 suffered extensive damage to the electrical cubicle. The repairs are now complete (thanks Bill!) and the pictures below show D4 being tested up and down the yard at Swanwick on 11th July.

Repairs to 45041 continuing

Bodywork repairs are continuing on 45041, with the new panels welded in, and the nose crowns back in place. Bodyside grilles are now being repaired and replaced ready for repainting. This picture shows 45041 in the diesel shed at Swanwick on 11th July.
